  • Define child safeguarding legislation and other relevant laws and regulations
  • Explain child safeguarding in different countries
  • Define statutory responsibility and safeguarding leads and partnerships
  • Explain your safeguarding responsibilities and broader safeguarding duties
Module 4 – How to safeguard children
  • Explain child safeguarding at the organisational level
  • Define responsibilities if you interact directly with children
  • Explain the three Rs framework:
    • Recognising
    • Responding to a child safeguarding concern and to a disclosure of child abuse
    • Reporting
